My friend Ethan and I went to Bryan Park this afternoon to watch a Red-tailed hawk nest there. It has at least one baby hawk (eyas) on the nest. We've been watching it grow up. We took that picture this afternoon.
We also took a video today:
Ethan took some terrific pictures of a Northern Water Snake at the same park on Monday. Here's one I liked a lot:
